Sound Familiar?

Whether your patio is freestanding or attached, U-shaped or wraparound, Gulf Coast soils and drainage take a toll over time. Expansive clay, heavy rain, and nearby landscaping can leave your outdoor space sinking, cracking, and holding water.

  • Sloping or uneven patio slabs that tilt furniture and create trip hazards
  • Cracks forming or water pooling after every storm
  • Settlement from trees, shrubs, or the weight of grills and fire pits
  • A patio that no longer feels like the refuge it used to be

There Is a Better Way

Ro-Berg lifts and levels patios using high-density polyurethane foam – injection holes smaller than a dime, even lifting, and results you can enjoy the same day. We use D.O.T.-strength foam that outperforms industry standard for lasting support beneath your outdoor living space.

  • Smaller holes than mud jacking – we blend them on stamped finishes when possible
  • Closed-cell foam that will not saturate or add unnecessary weight
  • Most patios lifted in a couple of hours, ready for normal use right away
  • Also available: joint sealing and crack repair to finish the job right

I was seriously considering just ripping out all concrete and starting over – but Ro-Berg came in and fixed both my driveway and sidewalk! It only took a few hours and it came out PERFECT!

Questions

Patio Lifting FAQ

How does polyurethane patio lifting work?

We drill small injection holes, pump expanding polyurethane foam beneath the sunken slab to fill voids, and gently lift the patio back toward level. The foam cures quickly so you can use your patio the same day.

Is patio lifting more affordable than replacement?

In most cases, yes. Polyurethane lifting is typically 40-60% more affordable than tearing out and pouring new concrete, and it addresses the soil voids that caused the sinking in the first place.

How is polyurethane foam different from mud jacking?

Polyurethane foam is lighter, cures faster, and will not saturate with water like mud jacking material. It is a closed-cell foam that disperses moisture and adds minimal weight to the soil below.

Can you lift stamped or decorative patios?

Yes. Injection holes are smaller than a dime, and on stamped concrete we place them in areas that blend in as much as possible.

How soon can I use my patio after lifting?

Most patios can be used immediately after the process is complete, often within a couple of hours.

What causes patios to sink?

Expansive Gulf Coast soils, drainage changes, nearby trees and landscaping, and the weight of furniture, grills, and fire features all contribute to patio settlement over time.

Do you also offer joint sealant?

Yes. Joint sealant is available as a recommended add-on after lifting to help prevent water from seeping beneath your patio and causing future settling.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Financing is available on qualifying patio lifting and concrete repair projects. Ask during your free estimate.
